Brown Bear PRINTABLES

I just found this “Brown Bear” printable pack that I’m definitely using in my class. I love THIS STORY, it’s great for learning animals and colours as well as basic chunks like “What do you see? – I can see…”. I think I’m going to have my 4-year-olds colour the black and white pictures of the animals, cut them out and make their own little books.

I hope you enjoy it!

TOPIC POSTERS

For each topic we learn, I ask children to bring some images related to it. It can be a picture they draw and colour themselves, a cut-out from a store catalogue, a photo, a sticker… any kind of image really.

Then they go sticking it to a big sheet of paper, sometimes organizing the pictures in a certain way. The final result is a kind of a poster that decorates the classroom and helps them remember the new vocabulary every day, even if it’s not English-class-day.

It’s a great way to involve parents and also kids get to play an active part in their own learning process. Works best with 5 year-old, 4 year-olds may be responsive as well.
