MY CALENDARS

These are the calendars I use in my English classroom. I made them out of cardboard, construction paper, velcro tape, and some printed-out words and pictures.

 My 4-year-olds learn the days of the week and the weather.

 

 

My 5-year-olds also learn the months and the seasons. Every time it’s someone else who gets to arrange the calendar so that eventually they all participate.

I love the way this song incorporates the family related vocabulary. I also sing it with my kids on the rare rainy days here in Spain in order to shoo the rain away.
